Liam on Cat Daddy v11 |
On Saturday afternoon, Liam and I cruised up to Farley for a short sesh on our projects. As we walked in, we noticed how many things were wet. Scarub and Terrordactyl were both soaked, as were the warm ups. Instead we had to warm up on Appetite for Destruction, an amazing climb we have both done before. We played around on that for a while, Liam added a lay down start, which adds a v6, and I came close to doing a 60 foot 'there and back' traverse into the start. Legit. After that we headed down to one of my on and off projects, Mid Sized Man v11. My skin was feeling too dry, and I repeatedly dry fired on the intro v6 compression. After that I decided to just dial the crux down, so I could have a chance on a better day. I managed to find a method that works for me, that as far as I know has never been done before. It involves a drive by all out dyno to the second jug on the face, eliminating the 'holding the swing' crux, along with the super high foot. I was happy and felt satisfied for the day. We finished the day with Liam trying Cat Daddy, my old project. Unfortunately he had no luck.
