So today was Liam's birthday, so we broke him out of school early, and drove the hour and a half down to great barrington for an afternoon session. The weather has finally evened out, and we've been having nothing but 50's and sunny for the past week. We quickly ran up and shot some video for the northeast series i'm producing. Liam tried fotowa sit v11, and sent pressure drop v10 for the first time, along with repeating filter, a tall v9 for the camera.

After that we cruised over to the speed boulder to try the proj, something from nothing. The crux move on something from nothing is the most precise stab i've ever done, into a juggy slot, which just barely accepts my fingers. One of the holds you throw off was a little wet, and my split finger didn't help. Even though I never even did the move i'm psyched because I made a tiny progression. By crimping instead of pinching the left hand edge, I gain a tiny bit more balance, and be more and more secure on the move. Its only a matter of time before it all clicks.

I finished off the day by climbing the incredible Big Big Love v8 twice in a row. We had to leave early so I could go celebrate my dad's birthday too! Psyched on how long the days are now! Climbing until 7:30 is the shit! Anyways. Rain for the next two days, heal the split, and get back on BUSTED SHADOW on sunday.
